The continuous reality that there is more than one way to love has sparked our awareness for what love really means.
We see love through our families, our best friends, our neighbors, and our significant others.The notion that love is only meant to be shared between a man and a woman has long been rewritten.
We do not measure love by the color of our skin, or our sexual orientation. Still, one sport tradition has remained inconsistent with the changing times: the ‘kiss cam.’ The ‘kiss cam’ is used to capture spectators at sporting events who are sitting in the bleachers (always a man and woman), as a template to display love on the Jumbo-tron.
Yet, in January at the Orlando Pro Bowl, the NFL took a step in making the ‘kiss cam’ a more equitable platform to display love. The NFL teamed up with the Ad council to show the diversity of love in a big way.

The Love Has No Labels campaign will continue its effort to showcase love in a variety of ways. Their Ad doesn’t only represent the LGBTQ community.Rather it embraces interracial couples, family love, and many different types of people expressing love.
This ad is diverse, showing what America is about, the reinforcement of equality for all.Kiss Cams are a big part of sports broadcasting which helps us to feel connected at a game.Therefore the NFL is helping to further equality, and may pave the way for other networks to do the same.And now everyone has the right to show their kind of love without feeling shameful or discriminated against.Along side this campaign promoting love, we too can help advocate for the acceptance of love everywhere.
