Now in its fifth year, this impactful program is more than just a grant—it’s a celebration of Black business excellence and a chance to continue the legacy of Wally Amos, the founder of the Famous Amos brand. His original recipe? A blend of hustle, heart, and resilience—ingredients that are still being honored today.
What Is the Ingredients for Success Grant?
The IFS Entrepreneurs Initiative was created to support early-stage, Black-owned businesses with not just money—but the tools to grow and thrive.
💼 What You’ll Get:
- Three recipients will each receive a $50,000 capital award
- Mentorship opportunities from the U.S. Black Chambers’ expert network
- Business education resources and access to a powerful network of like-minded founders
This initiative isn’t just about a check—it’s about legacy-building and long-term success.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible for the 2025 Ingredients for Success grant, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- The business must be at least 90% Black-owned
- It must be U.S.-based and in operation for 5 years or less
- The applicant must be 21 years or older
- A 90–120 second pitch video is required with your submission
