Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur, a popular comic book series maybe joining the Marvel’s “superhero TV universe”, an animated series is being created by Disney Channels Worldwide.
Executive producers from black-ish and grow-ish Laurence Fishburne and Helen Sugland are set to be over the project through Cinema Gypsy Productions and Marvel Animation.
It’s based on a nine-year-old African American girl, super genius Lunella Layfayette, who partners up with her crimson-dinosaur using her brains to save the day.
Marvel Animation will be producing with Cinema Gypsy Production, with visual development and animation production by Titmouse, Inc.
It has not yet been decided which Disney Channels Worldwide domestic outlets- Disney Channel, Disney XD or Disney Junior- will air the series yet if everything goes as planned.
The show will be a part of Fishburne’s Cinema Gypsy Productions overall deal with ABC Studios.
