Lionsgate has revealed the first trailer for Tyler Perry’s next drama, an infidelity thriller starring Taraji P. Henson called Acrimony.
The film follows the life of a faithful wife (Henson) who grows weary of standing by her undeserving husband (Lyriq Bent). Henson’s character becomes enraged when she learns of her husband’s deceitful ways.
In addition to Henson and Bent, Acrimony also features performances from Tika Sumpter, Danille Nicolet and Ajiona Alexus, who, like in Henson’s popular Fox hit, Empire, plays a younger version of the actress.
