The appearance of the First Lady has long fascinated the American public. Speculation of fashion choices and beauty routines is a constant. This scrutiny still continues for Michelle Obama, although she is out of office. But this week, Twitter users rejoiced at a photo circulating the internet. It shows a side of Michelle Obama never before seen.
In the off guard photo, Obama is seen in sunglasses. She is turned to the side, but evidently wears a ponytail of thick, curly hair. The casual look is a unique peek at her post-FLOTUS days. Her hairdresser Johnny Wright told The Root in 2015 that it was quite possible Obama could go natural in the future. “Maybe on vacation she will.” he said of Obama’s future. Well, he was right!
Twitter user @meagnacarta first brought this picture to viral light, commenting that this was an image she had “…been waiting on for like 3 years.”
