Update your reading list! A Kendrick Lamar biography will be hitting bookstores very soon.
Marcus J. Moore, Senior Editor of Bandcamp and Pitchfork writer, took to Twitter to announce that he is writing the book.
Some big news I've been eager to share: I've signed with @TouchstoneBooks to write the cultural biography of Kendrick Lamar. My book, "The Butterfly Effect: How Kendrick Lamar Ignited the Soul of Black America," will detail his rise to rap superstardom. pic.twitter.com/6Fm68sFBad

The book will focus on the albums ‘good kid, m.A.A.d city’, ‘To Pimp a Butterfly’, and ‘DAMN’ and “explores the broad global impact of Mr Lamar and his work.”
Moore says he has interviews set up with “people in and around the environment in which he grew up, as well as those who’ve helped him create music along the way”.
Touchstone Books have previously released biographies of Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney.
