Did you know that honey is one of Earth’s most sustainable and soulful substances? It’s a natural sweetener that symbolizes wisdom, healing, and blessings—a golden reminder of what it means to nurture communities and fuel the soul. Today, Honey is doing all that again, but this time, it’s in musical form—and her name is Honey Bxby.
Straight out of Asbury Park, New Jersey, the rising star Honey Bxby is the musical sensation we didn’t know we needed—but we’re never letting go. With top-tier talent, a sound that blends R&B, hip-hop, and unmatched energy, she’s been capturing hearts and headlines—and we’re here for every minute of it.

Trending, Talented, and Taking Over
Just like her latest single, Honey Bxby is ‘Right On Time’ and has become a trending topic. From her relatable lyrics to her down-to-earth social media presence, fans can’t get enough of her vibe. The innovative young singer is showing no signs of loosening up on those headlines! With hits like ‘Touchin’, Left Eye, & Bonnie & Clyde’ Honey Bxby is serving rich, rhythmic music that feels like a warm embrace—soulful, sticky-sweet, and totally addictive. The saying is “You get more flies with honey than you do with vinegar,” … but in Honey Bxby’s case, she is gaining more and more fans! Her star power continues to rise with every release, collab, and on-screen appearance. She’s worked with names like Fivio Foreign and Capella Grey and even graced our screens as a guest artist on Season 2 of Netflix’s Rhythm and Flow.
Getting Real With Honey Bxby
Being able to connect with Honey Bxby you get a great feel of who she is. There are no games or gimmicks! She’s not going to sugarcoat anything just because we call her Honey Bxby—and I adore that. She’s genuinely walking in her truth and delivers that authenticity in every project she puts out, which is exactly why her audience loves her so much. Hosting this intriguing one-on-one with the down-to-earth diva about new music, touring, fashion, and burning down the house (lol, iykyk) was quite the conversation. This is one of those interviews you’re going to want more of, so check out what our girl had to say in her latest sit-down—why would you stop reading now?
CH: Your journey has been so amazing to watch expand over the years. Where would you say your journey with music began?
HB: My journey with music began when I was a baby. I just remember always being into music—always infatuated by it. It’s just my calling.
CH: You have such a great personality and energy, and your audience adores you. Do you think that influencing and content creation have helped build a deeper relationship between you and your fans, where they understand not only the music but the person behind it?
HB: Definitely. They get to see another side of me when I’m creating other content or posting things outside of music. It’s just another way for them to connect with me—not just through lyrics, beats, and melodies.
CH: We recently saw you make a stunning debut on the hit show Rhythm and Flow. What was it like getting that opportunity, and did you enjoy the experience? Also, what was it like working on the spot with another artist?
HB: It was definitely a surprise because I didn’t know I was going to be in the second season. It wasn’t even on my radar. It was my first time working on an actual TV show—not an award show or anything like that—so it was a cool experience. I loved it! I love seeing myself on TV because who wouldn’t? So yeah, that was a really dope experience. I would definitely do it again.
CH: Your record “Touchin’” is a hit—it’s everywhere! What was the chemistry like with Capella Gray? And how does it feel having people rave about the song?
HB: For one, it feels really good that people actually enjoy the song because when I had originally done the song, I just knew people were going to like it. I love Capella—he shows me so much love and support. So the chemistry with him is amazing. He did the remix at first, and I loved it so much that we just put it into a song. We took the verse and put it into a song, and we put it on DSPs. So that’s actually how that came about. But yeah, I love him. Shoutout to Capella Gray.
CH: You’ve been on the move and proving that you’re a force to be reckoned with, especially with your latest single, LEFT EYE. What inspired the song? Is it based on a real-life situation?
HB: I’ve never actually set anyone’s house on fire lol, but I’ve had the feeling of wanting to. The inspiration behind the song is really about how it feels when someone plays with your emotions. And what are all the things that you would do to them? Kind of just letting somebody know I can’t be f***ed with. It’s a taste of what you can expect from my upcoming EP, Raw Honey.
CH: The video for LEFT EYE matches the entire energy of the song so perfectly. For those who know the Left Eye tea, it’s spot on. Would you say the late Left Eye is one of your musical influences?
HB: Yeah. All the women in the R&B and hip-hop world influence me. She was iconic. Everything about her—from her energy to her look—is legendary. So, 1000%.
CH: These career milestones must feel incredible. How does it feel to be going on tour? What are you hoping to learn from the experience?
HB: I’m so excited to go on tour! Anytime I’m on the road and get to connect with different audiences and different people, it’s such an amazing feeling. I don’t even know exactly what I’ll learn on tour, but I know I’ll learn something. I’m not expecting anything specific—I’m just ready to see how I grow on stage.
CH: How would you describe Honey Bxby’s fashion and style?
HB: I don’t know—it depends on the day. I love baggy clothes with short tops, or short bottoms with short tops. Anything that makes me feel good and comfortable. I love fur hats and fur boots. Love a good baggy camo moment. I love shirts that sit under my tits. Anything that shows off my stomach and legs, I’m in. And if it’s hot outside—I’m not wearing nathin’!
CH: I love that! And we loved the look you wore at the MEFeater Galentines NYFW show. How was that experience performing during Fashion Week? Are you looking forward to working with MEFeater again?
HB: They treated me so well. They had me set up so right. Anytime I’m with MEFeater, they’re very sweet to me. That was my first time doing something like that for a fashion show. I would 1000% do it again. The outfit I wore was by T. Dionne. She was one of the designers there. So that was dope, to get dressed by someone who had their designs walking the runway. I’ll definitely do it again. Definitely working with MEFeater again. See you next Fashion Week, baby!
CH: We love everything you’re doing and can’t wait to see you keep climbing the ladder of success with all these amazing full-circle moments. What message would you share with your younger Honey Bxby self, now that you’ve accomplished so much?
If I could talk to my younger self, I would say you’re doing exactly what you imagined at the age that you are at right now. YOU’RE NOT DREAMING TOO BIG! Talking to my younger self, I would be in awe, but I wouldn’t be in shock. I would want to be me & I am who I wanted to be when I grew up.
