The BET Awards continuously celebrates Black creativity, and 2024’s live show was no different! Culture’s biggest night brought out Black Hollywood’s best music artists, actors, and celebrities. In addition to explosive performances, the attendees slayed the blue carpet just before the 2024 BET Awards began.
Aside from celebrating Black excellence, the BET Awards has become a space for fashion statements. Many guests utilize the red carpet to try new things and set trends. In 2024, the celebrities continue to raise the bar! In no particular order, here are the best-dressed celebrities at the 2024 BET Awards!
1. Colman Domingo
Colman Domingo has quickly become one of Hollywood’s best-dressed men, and for good reason! The actor arrived at the 2024 BET Awards in a glossy, red-tinted organza suit designed by Ferrari. He decided to forego a shirt to display his chiseled physique. The outfit was accessorized with silver jewelry and tinted shades, showcasing his unique flair.
2. Coco Jones
Coco Jones may have the vocals, but she is also in her fashion zone! The singer wore a sheer green Retrofête dress featuring a cross-halter neckline. She was not shy about showing a little skin and stunned the blue carpet. To top the outfit off, she wore strappy Atiimu heels. The “Bel-Air” actress also participated in the Usher tribute performance, gagging the guest of honor, attendees, and viewers alike.
3. Chloe Bailey
Ms. Chloe Bailey will always remind us that she stays in the gym! The beauty walked the blue carpet in a black sequined Mônot dress. The gown followed the night’s trend with a cross-halter top and a backless design. The singer also graced the stage and performed “Good Kisser” during the Usher tribute.
4. Shaboozey
2024’s breakout star, Shaboozey, arrived in a Southern-inspired suit at the 2024 BET Awards. Designed by Campillo, the singer wore a beige suit with silver horses for buttons paired with a white shirt, a bolo tie, and cowboy boots. Shaboozey made his debut BET performance at the show, bringing rapper J-Kwon along to perform his 2004 hit “Tipsy.”
5. Taraji P. Henson
This list would be incomplete without the incomparable Taraji P. Henson! As the host, she appeared in several outfits and looked gorgeous in each one. However, her dress for the blue carpet takes the cake! The three-time BET Awards host was dripping in gold with a floor-length chained embossed Balmain gown. The dress also included gold tassels and was matched with black Betsey Johnson heels.
6. Niecey Nash-Betts
One thing about Niecy Nash-Betts is that she will put her curves on full display! The Emmy Award-winning actress arrived at the 2024 BET Awards in an all-blue outfit, revealing just enough skin to gorgeously stand out on the blue carpet. The dress was paired with blue gloves, sunglasses, and a clutch.
7. LaLa Milan
Standing out from the long gowns and sparkly dresses, LaLa Milan hit the blue carpet in a pink plaid outfit. The new mother sported large hoops and a couple of gold teeth to top the look off. The studded, rocker-chic, pink outfit was paired with pointed pink heels.
8. Usher
Usher is the epitome of the saying less is more! The Lifetime Achievement Award recipient wore a cream-white suit jacket paired with distressed jeans and black boots. In addition to the Lifetime Achievement Award, he won the Best Male Hip-Hop/R&B Artist award.
There are few spaces where Black people can celebrate themselves and others who look like them. It’s no wonder these celebrities showed up and showed out, making them undeniably the 2024 BET Awards best-dressed!
