Move over Jason and Michael Myers—50 Cent is stepping into the horror game, and he’s not here to play.
The rap icon and entertainment mogul, born Curtis Jackson, is adding another title to his ever-expanding résumé: horror movie star. Known for his gritty roles in Power and his unmatched hustle behind the scenes as an executive producer, 50 Cent is now diving headfirst into a genre known for its chills, thrills, and jump scares.
A Bloody New Chapter
According to reports, 50 Cent will star in Skill House, a brutal horror-thriller that aims to explore the darker side of fame, clout chasing, and influencer culture. Directed by Josh Stolberg (Saw X, Spiral), the film promises graphic scenes, psychological intensity, and a disturbing commentary on how far people will go for social media fame. And yes—it’s already been called “gruesome” by early insiders.
What’s It About?
Skill House is set in a TikTok-style mansion where influencers live together in a twisted competition for followers. But instead of cancellation, the price of failure is death. Think Saw meets The Hype House, and throw in 50 Cent with a vengeance.
While 50’s exact role hasn’t been fully revealed, word on the street is he’s playing a major part in the bloodshed—literally. One viral behind-the-scenes moment showed a camera operator passing out while filming a particularly intense scene. If that’s any clue, this won’t be for the faint of heart.
50’s Evolution On-Screen
50 Cent has never been one to stay in one lane. From gritty street dramas like Get Rich or Die Tryin’ to producing a whole TV empire with Power and BMF, his screen presence is undeniable. This horror turn adds a new layer to his creative legacy—and gives fans a chance to see him in an entirely different (and bloodier) light.
When Can We Watch?
Skill House is currently in post-production and set for release in late 2025. In the meantime, fans can get hyped (and maybe start sleeping with the lights on).
