André Holland will be staring in Stephen King’s horror/psychological drama, Castle Rock.
The series is set in fictional Castle Rock, Maine and follows multiple characters with one of them being André Holland’s character, Henry. Henry is a death row attorney with a distinct and complicated history in Castle Rock.
Last week, a teaser was released during the show’s panel at New York Comic Con. However, plot details are still being kept tightly under wraps.
Castle Rock’s name comes from the fictional town in King’s native Maine, which has been the setting for many of his novels and short stories. The series will explore themes and worlds that will unify King’s entire canon all while including some of his most iconic works.
André Holland has recently been put in the Hollywood spotlight when he starred in Barry Jenkin’s award-winning film Moonlight (2016). He also was in FX’s “American Horror Story: Roanoke” and Cinemax’s “The Knick.”
Holland will be starring alongside Melanie Lynskey, Jane Levy, Sissy Spacek, Bill Skarsgård, Scott Glenn and Terry O’Quinn.
Hulu has issued a 10-episode order for the series. There isn’t a release date yet, but production has started filming July. Will you be tuned in?
