Early this year, MEFeater was granted the pleasure of interviewing and meeting the multi-talented Leaf. Born and raised in New York, we thought it was appropriate to interview the 19-year-old singer in Brooklyn, New York since she once lived in the borough. Leaf, (and yes that is her birth name……. well her middle name!) filled us in that she writes and produces her own music, while also designing her own clothing line MBM. This young woman takes hands on to a next level! Along with designing her own clothing line and creating music , she even edits and directs her own music videos! According to the young singer/rapper, she learned how to edit videos and photographs naturally by being around people who did it. When she’s not busy creating what she calls the new R&B, Leaf divides her time between Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York City. With news of her record deal with Fool Gold Records and her new EP, Magnet Bitch dropping on sound-cloud and already stacking a total of more than 100,000 views, Leaf has proven that she is the next one to watch!
